Everlasting Wreaths: More Than Just Christmas Décor

When most people think of wreaths, their minds go straight to Christmas pine, ribbon, and festive sparkle. But to me, wreaths are so much more. They’re a creative expression of the seasons, the land, and the people who gather to make them.

A wreath is a circle, no beginning, no end symbolising connection, growth, and the rhythm of nature. Each everlasting wreath is created from dried flowers and foliage and tells a story of the flowers and season in Northern NSW: the golden fields, the scent of summer, and the hands that harvested each bloom.

I’ve always loved how something as simple as a wreath can transform a space. Hung on a wall, a door, or above a mantle, it becomes more than just decoration, it’s a reminder of nature’s quiet beauty and the joy of slowing down. Every dried flower wreath carries the textures and tones of the countryside, celebrating the charm of Australian-grown blooms that last well beyond the season.

Seasonal wreaths evolve naturally with the garden. In spring, they’re bright and fresh; in summer, sun-kissed and wild; in autumn, earthy and warm; and in winter, soft and comforting. It’s a piece of seasonal home décor that feels alive, even in stillness a celebration of the natural world in every form.

There’s also something grounding about the act of making a wreath. Gathering materials, weaving stems, and pausing for balance, it’s creativity and mindfulness woven together. At our wreath workshops, I watch people reconnect with nature, create something meaningful, and leave with both calm and pride in what they have made.

Our wreath bases are crafted from recycled and foraged materials, fencing wire, tree pruning's, and old grapevines. Each one rustically woven and beautifully unique. No two bases are ever the same shape or size, which makes every wreath its own original piece.

Our signature style is loose and natural handfuls of paper daisies bundled and tied together, layer by layer, to form something truly magical. We use a collection of what we’ve grown, foraged, and sourced locally to create wreaths that tell a story of place, season, and care.

A wreath doesn’t have to be just for Christmas. It can be a daily reminder of connection to nature, to creativity, to community. An everlasting wreath made with love and local blooms carries the essence of where it came from and the people behind it. That’s the kind of beauty I love to see hanging on walls all year round, blooming long after the season has passed.
